Beautiful tattoo! I found a website at tengwarscribe.com that does transcriptions for tattoos and other writings. I'm planning to use them for my next tattoo.

Hey-
I like it alot. Was just wondering where you learned the translation. I am a US Marine and would like to display some words of Honor to some of my fallen brothers. I would be thankful for any info... Lord of the Rings is the best ever!!!

I know there are probably more of us out there now that the movies are out, but yours is the only other Elvish tat (besides my own) that I've ever seen. I have my middle name, Elanor, in Elvish on my shoulderblade.

Excellent!!

I am having one done in the same fashion on my back with my kids names in elvish... in the eternal ring but slightly larger (as i have 4 kids) and i am thinking of putting some kind of elvish design inside.

A friend of mine who was a letters major had a similar tat. When I saw it I had no idea what to think as it's not a real language. However, now I think it's kinda cool cause it meant something to her.
