Theme Week: Neil Gaiman, Day 2

sandman

This tattoo was submitted by Preeti and is from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, Volume 9: The Kindly Ones.

Gaiman's a favorite of mine, and the quote just really struck me, I've got a bit of wanderlust and want desperately to see everything and live everywhere. Not to mention, Lucifer says it to Delirium and barring Dream, they're my two favorite characters.

  1. at first glance, this tattoo is better than average but not amazing.

but then, after you actually read what it says, and take the time to admire the unequal distribution of the words, you realize that it is quite beautiful. very aesthetically pleasing.

and although i have yet to read neil gaiman's work, i can still appreciate the elegance of the words, tattoo, and meaning.

    kudos.
