This tattoo was submitted by Haley. It comes from Dr. Seuss’s very first children’s book from 1937, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street.
Tags: And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, Dr. SeussThis is on the inside of my right ankle, completed by Emily at Body Art Ink in Terre Haute, IN. The first time I ever read to kids was when I was in high school for Read Across America. I read this book, which my dad read to me as a kid, and the kids got so into the story. Their enthusiasm and that experience solidified my decision to pursue a degree in teaching English.

Emily at Body Art Ink in Terre Haute, Indiana, has also done two of my tattoos, on being an apparently unoriginal Kurt Vonnegut’s “So it goes.” located under my collar bone.
I live in Springfield, Mass., where Dr. Seuss is from and every time I pass Mulberry Street I think of this book. I love your ink!
She was classy and very patient as we played with the font.
She originally drew a Little Prince for me, but was really cool about going a different direction.
