I got a more geometric and mathematical representation. I get asked about it all the time. Usually I answer "it is an affirmation of Aristotle's identity principle — that a thing is equal to itself, which means that it objectively exists" but sometimes I'll just blurt out "Immanuel Kant can suck it!" I love how you not only know and state the rule, “…it isn’t cool to disparage something that is important to somebody else,” but you then, in the same sentence, break that rule. This speaks volumes about you. Thank you for helping to demonstrate what it means to be a hack and to act as a juvenile.

So… the most profound statement from Atlas Shrugged is, quite literally, a tautology. Brilliant. I know it isn’t cool to disparage something that is important to somebody else, but Any Rand is a hack writer whose philosophy is juvenile at best.

That being said, I think the tattoo is aesthetically pleasing. I would suggest that you claim it is about your love for the simplicity of formal logic, and swear you have never heard of Ayn Rand.
