Good Omens

This is Joni's new tattoo:

It's a quote from the Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett book Good Omens and it's from the Dramatis Personae portion where Crowley is being described.  I decided on the quote because it made me smile, and maybe felt like it described me a little bit too.  The font is good old Courier - I wanted something that would look like it was lifted from the book.

“An Angel who did not so much Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards.”

- Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

  1. Love it! Awesome quote from a fun book. I can’t tell from the picture- where is this placed?

  2. I love this tattoo – as I love most of the tattoos on here – but can’t there be a rule against tattoos that aren’t yet healed on here? It’s kind of gross to look at.

    • If Joni has another picture, I\’d be happy to replace it!

      • It’s all delightful now, I’ll get one taken tonight or tomorrow. I don’t find it gross to look at, at all, but then again, tis my skin I guess :) I’d have gotten that red had someone ran their nails over the spot – I’m a fair skinned redhead!

        • I don't mind slightly red skin. Then again, I have people who send me pictures of their still-bleeding tattoos so maybe I'm just desensitized.

  3. neil gaiman and terry pratchett-classy. everything else about this tattoo–not so much.

  4. That’s ok mouse, I’ve claimed to be many things in life. Classy, not one of them ;)
