OZ

This is Casey's tattoo.

The design is taken from the cover of Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum, one of the original OZ books. The intertwined O and Z is the symbol of OZ, used most prominently in the gates to the Emerald City.

I was pretty obsessed with the original film when I was a child, which lead to me loving all things Oz: sequels, book adaptions, stage adaptations, etc. That whole obsession basically birthed my love of classic childrens' literature, fairy tales and magical realism.This photo is from my wedding (hence the lacy dress) and yeah, I had to wear some red shoes for my wedding. ;)
